Why buy a hyper performance sports car that is a project, or waste your time with one that has not been driven and needs attention? When it comes to real estate, it is location, location, location. With cars, it is records, records, and records, and I have the complete history of this shark. Do not let the high mileage scare you. This car was always well taken care of by professionals and 80 percent of the miles were easy ones on HWY 5 at speed and with no traffic (first owner's Visalia to LA commute). If something did break, it was immediately fixed, just look at the service records.This is a clean M6, with nearly 300 hp and all the Dinan mods that are important. Just get in and drive, fast (but not furious). I am selling this as I bought this car for my wife, but she did not "take to it", so to speak (she wanted an automatic).

This car cost $60K when new, my reserve on the auction is much less than 1/6th of that !!! Who needs a Porsche?

Known Needs and issues:
  • Brake lining warning light stays on, but brakes are fine. The Dinan brakes interfere with the stock sensor
  • Front tires will need replacing in the next 5K miles. I have priced them
  • The car was in a minor accident where a "certain person" sideswiped a chain link face after a hydroplaning excursion. No major damage, but the side was resprayed and we needed a new front spoiler and a new antennae (your gain, those are made from "Unobtainium" and have to be imported from Germany).
  • Sometimes, you need to lower the window a tad to close the door tightly. It is a known issue on cars with frameless windows and is not related to any body alignment issues.
  • Carfax brings back an "odometer rollback", but it is 60 miles (sixty). It is a clerical error.

**While I am not aware of any other issues, this is not a new car and is being sold as is. While it is very clean and runs great, please do not expect 110 % perfection.
